Chris Seidt is the Executive Director (CIO) of Metro Technology Services for the city of Louisville, Kentucky where he has served the past 20 years in a variety of roles for the city government, including Smart Cities and IT Operations, before becoming the Executive Director in 2018. Chris holds a B.S. in Organizational Leadership from the University of Louisville and numerous technical certifications from Cisco, Microsoft, and CompTIA.
Chris has led the city government through its recent digital transformation, where the IT team launched a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to replace legacy HCM and Financial systems, Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), Law Enforcement Records Management (RMS), and Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) systems while leading a largely remote IT workforce.
