Alexa Barton is the city administrator for Parkville Missouri. With over 20 years of experience in Municipal government. She has held roles at local, state, and federal levels, including the federal reserve bank. Barton specializes in fiscal management, economic development, and improving public services.

A key focus of Barton‘s work includes driving digital transformation and modernizing information technology within the city, ensuring improved efficiency and services for residents. She also leads initiatives in business, government, and education coordination.

Barton earned both her bachelors and masters degree in public administration from Park University in Missouri. She holds certifications in economic development, purchasing management, and leadership. Active in professional Association’s, she is a member of ICMA and MCMA.

Outside of work, Barton enjoys spending time, outdoors, live music, traveling, and many levels of sports, including baseball, football, and soccer.
