Cheriene Floyd serves as Chief Data Officer for the City of Miami. Her career, spanning over 20 years, includes pivotal roles such as a consultant at KPMG where she held lead roles in the implementation of the Affordable Care Act for Hawaii and Connecticut, reinforcing her dedication to making complex systems work for people.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American Studies from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. She then went on to achieve a Master of Public Administration from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, and a Master of Business Administration from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts. Cheriene’s journey is a testament to her belief that when we combine data with heart and purpose, we can create a government that truly serves its people.
