Colin is the Chief Digital Officer at Glasgow City Council, and is responsible for the Digital Glasgow Strategy which is a comprehensive strategy that sets out actions for the role that digital can play to improve outcomes for Glasgow’s economy, society, and for the delivery of public services. Colin also chairs the city’s Smart City working group with public sector, third sector, the academic sector and Scotland’s Innovation Centres.Colin is also the Chief Technology Officer for the Digital Office for Scottish Local Government which supports a partnership of all 32 councils in Scotland with digital transformation, and is an Associated Editor for the IET Smart Cities Journal.
